Vidya Balan�s Kahaani is going great guns. Directed by Sujoy Ghosh, the film will soon be remade in Tamil and Telugu, and most probably in English too.
�There are talks. If it happens, great. If it doesn�t, it didn�t happen. It�s at a very nascent stage.� Ghosh said, at the DVD release of �Kahaani�.
Endemol India, a TV production company, which is now into movie making, has purchased the remake rights for Telugu and Tamil version of �Kahaani�.
The remakes is said to roll on floors in September. Both the Tamil and Telugu versions will release in January 2013.
�I�m delighted to know that the film and the �Kahaani� franchise are being handled by a reputed name in the entertainment industry like Endemol India,� Ghosh said in a statement.
�This association will help us reach out to audiences in the south. Here�s looking forward to great success,� he added.
