Shampoo treatment

Monday, 6 August 2012

There are a lot of queries associated with shampoos. People often have problems deciding which shampoo would be suitable for their hair type and even some are confused between deciding whether shampoo is a better treatment for their hair.

Follow the guidelines mentioned below. This might help you with making a better decision, since we all know,” beautiful hair, beautiful you!”

 Which shampoo suits you?

Majority of shampoos contain detergents, like lauryl sulphates, including other ingredients including stabilisers, preservatives, conditioning agents, perfumes and colors.

Everything is to be judged by its performance, not by its appearance - so is a shampoo! Don’t make your choice depend upon color, perfume and certainly not by on cost.

Make sure the shampoo you choose cleans your hair and rinses out properly, leaving the hair lustrous and manageable. Too much lather forming shampoos can’t be rated as the best infact, is an indication of a high detergent content. Same goes out for the misperception regarding thick consistent shampoos, as it only means that the shampoo is rather more concentrated.

Buy the shampoo according to your hair type. You can easily find a wide range of shampoos made for oily, dry, and also for normal hair. What makes these shampoos different is the kind and concentration of detergent used.

As far as it is concerned with the pH of shampoos, it is generally accepted that neutral or slightly acidic shampoos are more suitable for hair, especially the hair type which are physically or chemically damaged.

Using Shampoos –out of harm’s way?

Shampoos are very safe for the hair since they are not composed of any harsh detergents, protecting the natural coating - the hydrolipidic film - on the hair.

How Often is it safe to Wash Your Hair?

It depends. If you have an oily hair type, then your hair would require a frequent wash, perhaps even 3-4 times every week. Environment is another factor you need to look into for a good hair treatment. This becomes pertinent if the environment you work in is dirty. Frequent shampooing is not harmful for the hair.

“This shampoo has all that you’d need for your hair’s treatment” – Can these lines be trusted, in terms of the ingredients?

In spite of the reputation and appeal in the market, many of the shampoo ingredients might not necessarily be of much benefit to the hair. Merely because they can be quickly rinsed off the hair while shampooing, does not mean they might give good results. On the other hand some products, for example egg and beer, can be very beneficial to the hair and act as conditioning agents. Amino acids and panthenol are also important additives, which give body and shine to the hair.

What Hair Style Suits Your Facecut

Saturday, 4 August 2012

Choosing the right hair style is again a serious dilemma for a number of people. Since, your hair defines your personality, it is vital to get a hairstyle that synchronizes with your looks; the face- cut, to be more precise.  All you have to do is follow the tips mentioned below:

In case of a heart-shaped and diamond-shaped face-cut, you would need a hair style with shorter hair in the crown region and at the side, ear areas. To further enhance it, add curls and detail to the chin area. Tendrils on the jaw area or bangs can give you a wider rounder look. Do not try getting a style that would augment your already heart-shaped appearance.

Now, let’s move onto those with a round-shaped face-cut. Shorten the length of hair at the sides and ear area. Keep hair longer beyond the chin or just above it. A side part works fine too. It is better if you keep hair off the face around the cheek area.

If you have a square shaped face, this is what you would require. Go for a style that round out your hair and rather cover-up the square shaped appearance of your face. A touch of curls, angled or wispy bangs, and a few bands around the cheek area will do wonders. A cut that allows for some height is also a good idea. Do not go for a centre part, it would enhance the square shape and make your face seem big. A side part is suitable. Keep away from straight bangs and hanging hair. They are not meant for you, at all!

There. That went well. But, there is still a query left unanswered, how can one tell what type of face cut do they possess? Well, that is simple. Pull up your hair back away from your face and tie them up in a pony tail or in case they are short, stick them back with water. Concentrate at your reflection in the mirror and outline the shape using a bar of soap or a crayon. Be sure to only outline your face with the hairline surrounding your temples and forehead region. This will help you know how your face has been shaped up and you can then, relate it to the above mentioned tips and Enjoy a new look!

Official make up

Saturday, 4 August 2012

Well make up as an Art has so many colorful methods to do. You just have to enhance your creative and esthetic senses in this regard. So, you can have your change and new look, even in the office as well.

Official make up requires more of your concentration and creativity as compared to any other type of makeup. As you go your office regularly and it means you require some different and a new look, on daily basis.

The first step in moving towards a good office make up practice is that it must be a balanced make up with a soft look. So that it will give you a normal or to some extent natural look. It means you should not make it too bright or too plain that it will give you a dull look.

While applying base and foundation on a clean, washed face with some brush or with your finger tips you must be care full enough to blend the base according to your skin tone, gently. Then powder your face with some sunscreen based face powder preferably.

Then comes eye makeup, it should be in neutral tone and try to be relating the eye shadow on the whole of your eye lid. We know that you mostly want to apply the same color eye shadow as your dress color is. But if you are wearing a bright color dress then try to avoid applying that dark color on your eyes, as you are not going to attend some party or in the night function.

Then come up to eye liners, in officials make ups you should apply thin liners, no matter you are using brush, pencil or other applicator. We think that pencil liner goes better this way, with less shine. It just enhances your eyes without giving you a brighter look, as mostly brush liners gives you shiny look and you not need to give glamorous look. Don’t apply liners outside of your eyelid; try to apply from inner to outer corner. Another important thing is that match the color of your liner with your eye brows. Apply the same shade on both. Well gray, light brown, dull black colors considers preferable for officials eye make liner.

Mascara, is one of the vital means for enhancing your eye beauty. Again in mascara, light colors are more suitable for your eye lashes. But try to give only 1-2 strokes, because applying more strokes gives your lashes heavy effect.

Use the Blusher with some light pink or any light color shade, with the length of your cheekbone towards your ear.

Last but not least, you always give finishing touch of your make up with Lipstick. Again light colors, shades from pink or brown goes well with it. Well it also depends on your complexion. Ladies with the fair color should prefer any light shade of pink and ladies with the less fair or brownish complexion should use brown shades. In this way they will give balanced and to some extent natural look.

Well if you do your official make in a proper way you will give a decent look, which ultimately enhances your confidence level in your office.
